Stat builds for each race
What STR / WIS / DEX / CON / LEAD give each race, worked out from the formulas the game really uses, which stats each race should raise, and how to use the //str //wis //dex //con //lead chat commands
Where Points come from
- At character creation you hand out 80 Points (five stats, at least 5 each)
- Each Level up gives 3 Points, and from Level 250 on 10 Points a Level
- The same Points raise both your stats and your Skill Levels: do not put every Point into stats if you still need Skill Levels
- Each stat can be raised with Points up to 1,500; stats from equipment are added on top
- A mistake can be undone with the Reset stats button in the character window (key C). Each use takes one reset right, a new character has 3, and all equipment must be taken off first
Equipment has requirements: STR must be at least the Item's weight, and some pieces need a minimum WIS or DEX. The Item's information box shows them. Check what the weapon and armour you want to wear need before you spend Points
What one Point adds
Every Point you add raises the maximum HP / Mana / Stamina / EPower by 1 + (new value ÷ divisor), rounded down, so the higher the stat, the more each Point gives. The table shows what one Point gives when the stat is at 500
| Race | STR | WIS | DEX | CON | LEAD |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bulkan | HP +11 · Stamina +9 | Mana +7 | EPower +11 | HP +26 · Stamina +1 | Every 2 Points: +1 to all |
| Kailipton | HP +7 · Stamina +1 | Mana +17 | EPower +7 | HP +13 · Stamina +1 | Every 2 Points: +1 to all |
| Aidia | HP +7 · Stamina +1 | Mana +17 | EPower +7 | HP +13 · Stamina +1 | HP +2 · Mana +2 every Point, and every 2 Points +1 to all |
| Human | HP +7 · Stamina +1 | Mana +11 | EPower +17 | HP +21 · Stamina +1 | Every 2 Points: +1 to all |
| Hybrider | HP +12 · Stamina +6 | Mana +10 | EPower +10 | HP +17 · Stamina +1 | Every 2 Points: +1 to all |
| Perom | HP +11 · Stamina +6 | Mana +10 | EPower +17 | HP +26 · Stamina +1 | Every 2 Points: +1 to all |
HP divisor of STR: Bulkan 50 · Kailipton / Aidia / Human 80 · Hybrider 45 · Perom 50 · Stamina of STR: Bulkan 60 · Hybrider / Perom 90 · other races a fixed 1 · Mana of WIS: Bulkan 80 · Kailipton / Aidia 30 · Human 50 · Hybrider / Perom 55 · EPower of DEX: Bulkan 50 · Kailipton / Aidia 80 · Human / Perom 30 · Hybrider 55 · HP of CON: Bulkan / Perom 20 · Kailipton / Aidia 40 · Human 25 · Hybrider 30
Stats against conditions
Against stone and ice element attacks, the chance and strength of the condition drop with your stats: Bulkan uses CON ÷ 30 · Human uses DEX ÷ 20 + CON ÷ 50 · the other races use WIS ÷ 20 + CON ÷ 50 (plus Level ÷ 10)
Stats and attack power
Each race's base attack power comes from its stats (equipment stats included), then the weapon is added and Mastery and Skills multiply it, so the stats in the formula are multiplied too. Almost every attack Skill starts from this attack power, except Kailipton spells, which have their own formula
| Race | Base attack power (before the weapon) | Most attack per Point |
|---|---|---|
| Bulkan | STR ÷ 4 + DEX ÷ 4 + CON ÷ 5 + Level ÷ 6 | STR and DEX (0.25) · CON (0.2) |
| Kailipton (normal attack) | STR ÷ 5 + WIS ÷ 4 + Level ÷ 5 | WIS (0.25) |
| Kailipton (spells) | WIS ÷ 2 + Level ÷ 4 + the Skill's power, then the staff's magic % | WIS (0.5) |
| Aidia (rings) | WIS ÷ 2 + LEAD ÷ 3 + Level ÷ 4 | WIS (0.5) · LEAD (0.33) |
| Human (guns) | DEX ÷ 2 + STR ÷ 3 + Level ÷ 6 (STR counts up to 700 only) | DEX (0.5) · STR (0.33 up to 700) |
| Hybrider | STR ÷ 5 + DEX ÷ 3 + WIS ÷ 4 + Level ÷ 6 | DEX (0.33) · WIS (0.25) · STR (0.2) |
| Perom | STR ÷ 4 + DEX ÷ 4 + CON ÷ 4 + Level ÷ 5 | STR / DEX / CON alike (0.25) |
Skills with their own formula
- Kailipton Transfer Magical Power (wand): the wand's value + Level + WIS × 3
- Aidia Recovery: heals the Skill's power + WIS ÷ 3 · summons hit harder by WIS ÷ 5 + Level ÷ 10
- Human Sniper: DEX ÷ 2 + Level ÷ 5, then the gun · Deep attack / Chain attack (light sabre): full STR + DEX ÷ 4 + Level ÷ 4 · large equipment (Machine Operation): DEX ÷ 2 + Level ÷ 2
- Bulkan Second Attack (slayer throw): stats add very little (STR ÷ 50 + CON ÷ 8); it is driven by the hits before it
- Hybrider Divine Stone (quake stone): (Level + WIS) × 2 + the hammer's value
What Skills spend
| Race | Skills spend | Stat that fills it |
|---|---|---|
| Bulkan | Stamina, every Skill | STR (the most Stamina of any race) · CON +1 |
| Kailipton | Mana, every spell | WIS |
| Aidia | Mana · rings spend Mana on every hit | WIS · LEAD |
| Human | EPower (guns spend EPower every shot) · the light sabre spends Stamina | DEX |
| Hybrider | Dual sword Skills spend Stamina · hammer Skills and Divine Stone spend Mana | STR (Stamina) · WIS (Mana) |
| Perom | EPower | DEX |
Bulkan (sword / axe)
- STR first: 0.25 attack per Point, the most HP and Stamina, and heavy weapons need it
- CON second: 0.2 attack per Point, but about two and a half times the HP of STR, and it helps against stone / ice
- DEX: as much attack as STR, but it gives EPower, which a Bulkan does not use; raise it only as far as Items need
- WIS and LEAD: a Bulkan uses no Mana; raise them only as far as Items need
A usual build: STR up to your weapon's weight, then split STR and CON to taste. More STR hits harder, more CON lasts longer
Kailipton (spells)
- WIS first: spells gain 0.5 per Point and the staff's magic % multiplies that again; Mana 1 + WIS ÷ 30 per Point, and it helps against conditions
- CON: a Kailipton gets little HP per Level, so CON is the best way to more HP
- STR: only as much as the staff and armour need; the normal attack is hardly used
- DEX and LEAD: no help to spells; raise them only as far as Items need
Aidia (rings / summons)
- WIS first: rings gain 0.5 per Point, Mana 1 + WIS ÷ 30 per Point, more healing from Recovery and stronger summons
- LEAD second: the Aidia is the only race whose LEAD adds ring attack (0.33 per Point), and it gives HP +2 and Mana +2 every Point, plus room for more Party members
- CON: more HP if you take many hits
- STR and DEX: only as far as Items need
Rings spend Mana on every hit; without enough Mana that hit deals no damage. High WIS gives both more power and longer fights
Human (guns)
- DEX first: 0.5 attack per Point and EPower 1 + DEX ÷ 30 per Point, which the gun spends every shot
- STR up to 700: 0.33 attack per Point; above 700 it no longer adds gun attack (it still adds HP). It must also cover the weight of your gun and equipment
- CON: HP (1 + CON ÷ 25 per Point) and a little help against conditions
- If you play the light sabre (Deep / Chain attack), STR counts in full with no 700 limit
When EPower is below what the gun spends per shot, that shot deals no damage. Do not cut DEX so far that you run dry fast
Hybrider (dual swords / hammer)
- DEX = pure damage: the most attack of the race (0.33 per Point), but the EPower DEX gives is never used, since no Hybrider Skill spends EPower
- STR = all-round: less attack than DEX (0.2 per Point), but it also gives HP and Stamina, so no part of the Point is wasted
- Dual swords: DEX + STR (more DEX hits harder, more STR lasts longer and casts more): dual sword Skills spend Stamina; STR gives Stamina (1 + STR ÷ 90), HP and 0.2 attack per Point
- Hammer: DEX + WIS: hammer Skills and Divine Stone spend Mana; WIS gives Mana (1 + WIS ÷ 55), 0.25 attack per Point and WIS × 2 on the quake stone
- CON: HP 1 + CON ÷ 30 per Point, no attack
Perom (spear)
- STR / DEX / CON add the same attack (0.25 per Point)
- DEX: Perom Skills spend EPower; DEX gives EPower 1 + DEX ÷ 30 per Point
- CON: the most HP (1 + CON ÷ 20 per Point) and as much attack as DEX
- STR: only as much as the spear and armour need, then split DEX and CON
Raising stats with chat commands
Type them in any chat channel; other players do not see them. They do the same as the + buttons in the character window (key C), but many Points at once. Type // and the list of commands with your Points left shows above the chat box
| Command | Does |
|---|---|
| //str 50 | Adds 50 Points to STR |
| //wis 50 or //int 50 | Adds to WIS |
| //dex 30 | Adds to DEX |
| //con 20 | Adds to CON |
| //lead 10 or //cha 10 | Adds to LEAD |
| //str all (or max) | Puts every Point left into that stat, up to 1,500 |
| //str (no number) | Adds 1 Point |
| //point | Shows the Points left |
| // or //help | Shows the command list |
add may follow the name too, for example //stradd 50
When a command does nothing
- A number above your Points left: the game says not enough Points and adds nothing (it does not add what you have). Use all to put in everything that is left
- A number that would take the stat past 1,500: the game says how many more it can take and adds nothing
- The number must be a whole number above 0
- After it works, the game shows the new value and the Points left, for example STR +50 (now 450) · 12 Points left
A wrong command cannot be taken back without a stat reset right. Type //point first every time
