Game Guide
PvP and conduct
Fighting other players: where you can fight without a penalty, where there is one, what conduct is, and how to fix a negative conduct value
Where you can fight
| Where | Result |
|---|
| PvP areas in Laglamia (2 places) | Free attack with no penalty |
| Shilon and Great White Horn during a war or event | The whole Map outside town is open to attack with no penalty |
| Hunting grounds of other Maps (outside safe areas) | Attacks land, but whoever starts gets the aggressor mark and may lose conduct |
| Safe areas (in town) | Attacks do not land, no damage |
| Dekaren, Dekadun and Guild Hunt areas | No PvP |
| Duels | Fight anywhere, against your duel opponent only, no penalty |
- Damage against players is 1/10 of normal damage
- Players of the same Guild cannot attack each other, anywhere
- Dying to another player costs you nothing (no Lime, Option or endurance lost)
- You must be Level 11 or higher to attack players
PvP areas in Laglamia
| Area | Position |
|---|
| Football pitch (inside the lines) | 790-845, 380-460 |
| Walkway between the town centre and the warehouse | 645-679, 515-528 |
- The edge of each area has a light veil you can see; a message shows when you walk in or out, and a PvP badge appears under your HP bar
- The attacker and the target must be in the same area for attacks to land
- Inside a PvP area left-click a player to attack straight away, just like a Monster, and right-click to use Skills. Outside the areas you need Ctrl + click
Rules in every PvP area
- HP potions can be used once every 3 seconds (Mana / Stamina / EPower potions work as normal)
- Mana / Stamina / EPower never drop below 40% from Skill use, so you can keep using Skills
- Aidia's Teleport can be used once every 3 seconds
- Aidia's Recovery heals 20% of max HP and can be used once every 6 seconds
Aggressor mark and conduct
Conduct is shown in the character window (key C). New characters start at 1,000 (full); the lowest is -1,000
- Attacking an innocent player outside a PvP area gives you the aggressor mark for 60 seconds (your name changes colour); attacking again restarts the timer
- If you kill a player while you carry the mark or have negative conduct, you lose 60 conduct
- If the player killed was already an aggressor or had negative conduct, they lose 30 instead and the killer loses nothing
- No penalty when: inside a PvP area · against your duel opponent · in the same Party · the target is already an aggressor or red-named
| Conduct | Result |
|---|
| 0 or more | Normal |
| Negative (-1 to -499) | NPC shop prices x3 · warehouse fee x3 · attacks on players 10% weaker |
| -500 or lower (red name) | NPC shop prices x10 · warehouse unusable · attacks on players half as strong · the guards in Shilon throw you in prison |
Fixing your conduct
Hunt the Armor Rat of Contrition
Killing an Armor Rat of Contrition in Laglamia gives +1 conduct per kill up to the full 1,000; the game tells you your current value each time. This Monster drops nothing, and your character must land the killing blow itself (a Pet's kill does not count). See where it spawns on the Monster search page
The prison in Shilon
- A red-named player hit by a Shilon guard dies at once and revives in the prison (around position 600-635, 480-514 of Shilon)
- While you stand in the prison your conduct rises +1 every 3 seconds until it reaches 0, and then you are free
- If you leave the cell before your sentence is over, you are sent back
- Killing Jailer Khan frees you at once and sends you back to town (but your conduct can rise no higher than -400 this way)
The /pk and /peace commands, and duels
| Command | Result |
|---|
| /pk | Declares you ready to fight for 60 seconds. Two players who have both declared can fight with no penalty. Each attack adds 30 seconds (up to 300 seconds) |
| /peace | Peace mode: nobody can attack you and you cannot attack anyone. Only for characters below Level 250 with no penalty. If you leave the mode you cannot turn it on again for 7 days, and it gives no protection in war areas |
Duels
- Shift + click a player and choose Request duel. Both must be Level 50 or higher with full HP
- Once the other player accepts, a 5-second countdown runs and the duel starts. It ends when one side loses, or after 30 seconds with no attacks
- You can duel even in town, with no penalty. The loser gets up with 1/3 HP, and Monsters do not attack players who are duelling
- No duels in Dekaren, Dekadun, Sea Roost and Genus
Summons and Pets in PvP
- Summons and Pets only attack the player their owner is attacking, and only where the owner may attack
- A Pet will not attack if that attack would give its owner a penalty
- Players cannot attack other players' summons and Pets directly
