Magic Stones and flight stones
Magic Stones add Options to weapons and armour, such as attack power, defence or critical chance. Flight stones go on shoes and let your character fly across the gaps in the Map Pharos. You add both yourself, no NPC needed
The 4 kinds of Magic Stone
Each kind of Magic Stone adds different Options, and each Option has a minimum Item Level it can go on. Click a picture to see which Monsters Drop it
- Gnome Rune Stone — Basic Options for weapons and armour
- Nymph Rune Stone — Overall attack power / defence and deadly strike chance
- Sylph Rune Stone — Attack power / defence in %
- Salamander Rune Stone — Lowers the enemy's evasion (weapons only)
The Amiga Rune Stone (raw stone) and the Rune Stone Refiner are materials and cannot be put on an Item directly
How to add an Option
- Wear the weapon or armour you want to add the Option to
- Open your bag (key I) and click the Magic Stone so it sticks to the mouse
- Click the equipment slot holding that Item. A list to choose the Option to add appears, showing the current level of each
- Choose the Option you want
- It always succeeds, there is no chance of failure. 1 stone adds 1 level to an Option
- Each Option can go up to 3 levels, and one Item can have several Options at once
- Works on the weapon and armour (helmet, armour, pants, cloak, shoes, shield) you are wearing
- If it cannot be added, the game tells you why and the stone stays on the mouse; it is not lost

Pick up the Magic Stone from the bag (right) and click the slot of the Item you are wearing (left)

The Salamander Rune Stone has no Option for armour
Options can drop when a Monster kills you
- Every time your character is killed by a Monster there is a 15% chance that 1 worn Item (a weapon or armour with Options) loses 1 level of an Option. The game tells you which Item lost which Option
- The flight level of your shoes also counts as an Option that can drop
- Dying to another player costs you nothing
- An Item's + value does not drop when you die
Flight stones
The Map Pharos is a set of floating islands with gaps between them that cannot be walked across. You must first put a flight stone on your shoes, then your character can fly across (an airship appears under your feet while flying)
- Wear shoes on your character
- Pick up a flight stone from your bag so it sticks to the mouse
- Click the shoes slot you are wearing them in; the stone goes on at once
| Flight stone | Flight level | Airship seen while flying |
|---|---|---|
| Atomic Flight Device | 1 | Atomic Airship |
| Round Flight Device | 2 | Round Airship |
| Flying Device | 3 | Hydrogen Airship |
| Airship Stone4 to Airship Stone7 | 4 to 7 | Hydrogen Airship |
- A higher level stone can go on top of the old one. A stone of the same or a lower level cannot (the stone is not lost)
- The flight level stays with that pair of shoes and cannot be removed. If you change shoes you must put on a new stone
- The flight level can drop by 1 when a Monster kills you (see the section above)
- Atomic Flight Device — Level 1 flight stone, sold in NPC shops
NPC Paros Bullet Seller — Pharos Position 128, 137 — Sells the Atomic Flight Device (level 1 flight stone). Another one stands at 1160, 1145 · the Gypsy shop in Great White Horn (785, 119) sells it too
